Petro Canada Savings
Applications available for superpass program, and:

A discount of 2.4 cents/litre on all grades of gasoline and 2.4 cents/litre on diesel purchased at Petro-Canada retail service stations. A minimum of 300 litres/month must be purchased on your account to qualify for this discount.

A discount of 20% on car wash at Petro-Canada retail service stations.

A discount of 5% on all parts and labour at Petro-Canada's Certigard Car Care Centres. The discount will be deducted from your invoice at the time of purchase.
Employee Benefits Plan for GVCA Members
The Merit Benefits Programs is a national benefits plan, exclusively designed for construction companies, through Merit OpenShop Contractors Association (MOCAO). For companies with 3+ construction employees (including owner), the Merit Hourbank Plan offers a comprehensive plan for a $1+ per hour worked. All employees are insured for life insurance for themselves and their families; disability benefits; health benefits with pay-direct drugs and vision; full dental benefits and an Employee Assistance Plan. Monthly payments are based on the hours worked.
A similar plan is available for staff who works exclusively in the office, if the Merit Hourbank plan is selected. Additional services, at no-charge, include Affinity discount programs for employers and employees; apprenticeship tuition refunds; Group retirement plans and Group property insurance and bonding. Separate benefits plan are also available for businesses with 1-2 employees or Construction Suppliers. Merit OpenShop Contractors Association will waive the first 12 months of the annual MOCAO fee for GVCA members who join the Merit Hourbank benefits plan.
