GVCA Bidders lists, contract awards, prequalification ads ? current information uploaded to website and available via fax ensures you know what?s going before its too late.
GVCA Plans on Display List ? A daily bulletin of plans available for viewing is published online (and faxed weekly to members not currently able to connect to www.gvca.org.) These plans gives members access to many of the projects currently out for tender. Subscribers to the electronic plans room receive instant email notifications of updates, changes and addendums.
GVCA Sign out Plans - You are also able to take plans out of the GVCA office on a reservation basis for overnight or weekends.
Construction Association (Ontario) Electronic Plans Room
The Construction Association (Ontario) Electronic Plans Room (ca.on.ca) gives members online access to plan lists, bidders lists, addenda, low bids and awards through out all of Ontario. This electronic plans room covers all Ontario construction associations and provincial government projects. Members can order print outs and drawings in the password-protected area of this site.
GVCA Private (Restricted Access) Electronic Plans Room
These restricted access plans rooms allow prime contractors to share and manage pre construction processes in a secure online environment. The GVCA technical staff administers the site, freeing up the contractors from the technical aspects of managing their private electronic plans room.
Standard Construction Documents - Complete supply of CCDC Documents, CCA Contract Forms, guides, best practices and other document requirements at a discounted rate. Purchase online, by phone, email or fax. Pick up / delivery available.
Photocopying & Technical Services - Our IT staff will provide training and assistance for online services, large format photocopying and computer-related questions. Print orders and reductions available
GVCA Plan Room - A spacious, well lit plan room available for examining take-offs and estimates.
GVCA News & Events Current information from GVCA, provincial (Construction Association of Ontario) and national (Canadian Construction Association) sources is available on line, or faxed upon request. Keep up to date on those matters affecting your business.
GVCA Building Excellence Awards ? a bi annual event where excellence in building is recognized through a juried process.
Affidavit/Commissioner of Oaths Service - Affidavit Commissioners are available to GVCA members at no cost.
Gold Seal Certification Chapter & Examination Centre - This Canadian Construction Association certification program for the construction industry provides recognition that an individual has a base level of competency as established by fellow industry practitioners. To a company, it provides a national standard of recognition for recruitment and advancement purposes. Gold Seal certified educational courses are available to GVCA members.
Health & Safety ? GVCA works closely with the CSAO offering Health and Safety courses. GVCA members are part of the Regional Safety Group
GVCA Educational Services and Seminars - Throughout the year, the GVCA arranges for relevant educational seminars, lunch n? learns and courses.
GVCA Social Events - Throughout the year, the GVCA creates social activities designed to bring members together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, while providing opportunities for networking.
GVCA Membership & Trade Directory - Each year the GVCA publishes a Membership & Trade Directory containing the names of all the Members and their trade listing. These guides are widely distributed to architects, engineers, associations, municipalities and purchasers of construction services.
Technical resources - Many publications including Daily Commercial News, complete arrays of safety material, handbooks and specifications, volumes, etc., are available for your use at the GVCA office. We are currently adding this feature to our online services.
