CCA is pleased to invite Corporate Members to participate in the upcoming Construction Industry

Leaders Forum (CILF) to be held at the beautiful Fairmont Winnipeg, located in the heart of Winnipeg on September 11-12, 2008.The theme for this year’s program is Yesterday’s Trends, Today’s Realities and features expert presentations onbusiness and economic trends, LEED certification, building information modeling, and public-private partnerships. Other highlights of CILF 2008 include a golf outing at Elmhurst Golf and Country Club and dinner at Sydney’s atthe Forks, one of Winnipeg’s highly rated restaurants. Space for the golf outing is very limited; we encourage you to send your registration information to CCA as soon as possible.

CCA is also pleased to announce that Darryl Sittler is now confirmed as the event’s Keynote Speaker. Darryl Sittler is one of the greatest players to ever wear the Toronto Maple Leaf uniform. The former centreman wasToronto’s first choice in the 1970 Amateur Draft, and he embarked on a career that led him to the top of theLeafs’ All-Time Points and Goal Scoring List. Focusing on a few key issues – the development of coaching as aleadership skill, the influence of great management in maximizing performance potential, and the creationand maintenance of great teams – Darryl Sittler relates his experiences of becoming one of the top performersin his field to those of his audience in their business and personal lives.

CILF is held exclusively for Corporate Members of the Canadian Construction Association and offers senior representatives from these firms an opportunity to network with their peers and attend a national conference focused on issues thatspecifically relate to them.
