Bill 3 Introduces Pay Transparency Legislation in Ontario: What Does It Mean for Employers?

The legislation will require an employer to disclose certain compensation information about, and to, employees and prospective employees, and restrict the information an employer may solicit during the hiring process. The Pay Transparency Act, 2018 comes into force on January 1, 2019. Accordingly, employers (particularly those with more than 100 employees) should prepare now.
At COCA’s February AGM, Paul Radkowski delivered and informative and well received presentation on the the Life Recovery program. With and increased awareness of addiction and mental health issues within the construction industry, there has been interest from COCA members in having Paul speak at industry events – Paul will be speaking at the ECAO Conference in Barcelona.
