GVCA is Celebrating 50 Years

The Grand Valley Construction Association (GVCA) was established in 1974 when the Guelph Construction Association and the Kitchener-Waterloo Construction Association merged to form one unified organization. The objective was to create a supportive environment where we advocate, promote, network, celebrate and collaborate on behalf of our members and the greater industry. Whether the issue is local, provincial or national, the GVCA helps members navigate the challenges, legalities and legislative requirements of the construction industry and move it forward.

As we celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2024, we recognize those that have come before us. Without their vision and dedication to excellence and to building a better community we would not be where we are today. We thank them for their contribution.  We also look forward to the next 50 years with a focus on connecting and collaborating, introducing more innovation, a continued focus on health and safety, building better businesses and building better communities.

Join us through the year as we celebrate all that was and all that will be.

Our 50th will kick off at our AGM on March 7, 2023 and the events will continue throughout the year.
