The construction industry is changing faster than we ever expected.  Where we find the people to work in the industry and what they look like are moving quickly from what was once deemed normal to being much more representative of the population.  How we are pricing projects due to changes in supply, timelines and ever-changing demands are the norm.  Mitigating risk, project management, and prioritization of safer practices and protocols are all leading to a better business model.  The days of old are long gone.

Integrating renewable energy solutions and sustainable materials into construction practices aligns with growing environmental consciousness, benefiting both the planet and the bottom line.

Staying ahead of regulatory changes and industry standards ensures compliance and maintains the reputation of construction firms as responsible and reliable partners. Ultimately, embracing change in construction fosters resilience, adaptability, and innovation, positioning companies to thrive in an ever-evolving marketplace while contributing to the advancement of the industry.

More and more our members and future members are looking to us for answers to questions that didn’t exist in the past.  For 50 years the Grand Valley Construction Association has existed to assist our member. The next 50 years will see more reliance on outside partnerships to fill gaps in knowledge, provide opportunities for good growth and to set up business for longevity.  We know that this industry is great.  It provides incredible careers, builds community, and has a direct link to shaping the future.

As well celebrate 50 years we encourage you to get involved and to celebrate with us.  We have achieved so many incredible things and we have just begun.
