This project is a 38,000 sf manufacturing and storage facility that will be manufacturing plastic bags. The building will have 3,300 sf of office space with an industrial mezzanine located above it. It is greenfield construction with existing neighbours, whose property must be respected throughout the construction of this site. Winston Park Drive is a high traffic road.
The site plan agreement and the building permit have been applied for and will be issued prior to the start of construction. The construction start date is to be as weather allows in the spring of 2024. Substantial Completion of construction is to be February 1, 2025 or sooner. The proponent must advise the owner that they can achieve this proposed schedule in their submission and if not an alternate Substantial Completion date must be submitted. Should the proponent assume the February 1, 2025 Substantial Completion date, it is expected that all efforts will be made to meet it including working extended hours at the proponents expense. If alternate dates are submitted this fact will be used in the awarding of the contract.
