One of the biggest advantages of being a Grand Valley Construction Association (GVCA) member is making connections with other people in the construction industry. We host events throughout the year that bring people together to celebrate industry excellence, network, and engage with the wider community.

Our events

Check our Events Calendar regularly so that you don't miss any of our exciting events. This includes community events that are open to non-members.

Each year the GVCA and our special groups, the Women in Construction (WinC), HR in Construction and Leaders in Construction (LinC), host dinners, luncheons, and golf tournaments to provide our members with networking opportunities.

One of our largest events is the Building Excellence Awards  which is held every two years. This gala is a celebration of excellence in construction by members of the GVCA. Another gala is our Annual General Meeting which includes Heritage Tributes to members who have been in business 25 years or more and who have not previously been recognized, and the announcement of our Hall of Fame Inductees.

Beginning in January 2020, we will be hosting annual BOLD Awards for Leaders in Construction, in recognition of construction professionals, under the age of 40, who exhibit outstanding leadership, social responsibility and other qualities in their work.
