Approved Working at Heights

This Ministry of Labour-approved course is mandatory for anyone working on or entering a construction site, or operating machinery at heights. To reduce the risk of falls, the leading cause of industry fatalities—the training combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in Fall Prevention and Fall Arrest. Participants will learn to safely use ladders, scaffolds, and guardrails, alongside the proper operation of harnesses and lanyards. Successful completion of the written and practical evaluations results in an official Working at Heights certification.
Approved Working at Heights Refresher

This Ministry of Labour-approved refresher is mandatory for individuals who have previously completed a full CPO-approved Working at Heights program. The training updates participants on their safety responsibilities through two key sections: Fall Prevention, covering ladders, scaffolds, and lifts; and Fall Arrest, focusing on harness and lanyard application. By combining a theoretical exam with a hands-on evaluation, the course provides the necessary skills to reduce fall-related fatalities. Successful participants receive an updated Working at Heights certification.
Confined Space Entry

This training provides the essential knowledge required to safely recognize, assess, and control hazards associated with confined and restricted spaces. The program covers space definitions, PPE requirements, emergency response plans, and the specific responsibilities of employers and workers. Participants will learn methods for eliminating and monitoring risks to ensure a safe work environment. To attend, all participants must present a valid photo ID and bring CSA-approved footwear, eyewear, and a hard hat.
Elevated Work Platform

The Elevated Work Platform course, or Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) training, provides the skills necessary to safely operate boom and scissor lifts. To participate, trainees must present a valid Working at Heights, Fall Protection, or Fall Arrest certificate. The program includes a theoretical session, a written test, and a hands-on practical evaluation where attendees are encouraged to bring their own harnesses and lanyards for professional fitting. Successful completion of both components results in an official Elevated Work Platform certification.
Emergency First Aid

This comprehensive program offers eight hours of instruction, typically delivered over a two-day format, and is designed for individuals seeking essential first aid skills who do not work as first responders or healthcare providers. The curriculum focuses on the roles and responsibilities of a provider, emergency scene management, and the confidence to respond to various medical emergencies and injuries. Additionally, the Level C CPR and AED component specifically trains participants to handle cardiac emergencies for infants, children, and adults.
Forklift Operator Training

The Forklift Operator course provides individuals and companies with the essential training required to safely operate a forklift in a professional setting. This program includes a theoretical phase, a written test, and a hands-on practical evaluation using an on-site forklift. Upon successful completion of both the exam and the practical component, participants receive their official Forklift Operator certification.
Standard First Aid

This WSIB-approved course provides essential life-saving techniques required for workplaces with six or more employees per shift. The blended format includes six hours of self-paced online theory followed by a 6–7 hour on-site practical session. Participants learn to support injured patients until emergency services arrive, covering topics such as adult CPR, AED usage, and severe bleeding. By equipping staff with emergency knowledge, this training fosters a safer and more prepared work environment.

Master the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation for Construction Projects (213/91) with this Green Book course, designed for employers, supervisors, and workers. This training combines theory with practical, real-world scenarios to teach you how to navigate safety laws and regulations effectively. Participants receive a new Green Book and earn a certification upon completion, gaining the vital knowledge needed to protect their rights and foster a safer workplace. For more extensive leadership training, this curriculum is also available as part of our two-day Supervisor Basics program.

Telescopic Handler

0-8 Ton Crane

This course provides both theory and hands-on training for operators of cranes and hoisting equipment up to 8 tons. The course covers essential topics such as hazard identification, equipment components, inspections, lift planning, safe operation, and applicable legislation, followed by a short test. Participants then complete practical training on-site using their own equipment. Upon successful completion, participants receive certification that meets Ministry of Labour Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) standards.
